Creative Culture Guide

Editorial policy

Creative Culture Guide aims to publish clear, careful writing about creative culture. We distinguish what can be established from interpretation, make claims in proportion to the information available and revise work when a meaningful error comes to light.

Accuracy and care

Writers should check names, dates, terminology and other factual details against suitable sources, and make the basis for specific claims clear in the article. Context matters: creative traditions and practices may differ between communities, and we avoid presenting one example as universal. Where an explanation is uncertain or a matter of interpretation, the wording should say so.

Independence and disclosure

Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial arrangements. Any paid or partner-supported material is clearly identified as such, and its nature is explained to readers. A partnership does not guarantee coverage or a favourable view. We do not present a commercial message as independent editorial work.

Corrections

Readers can use the Contact page to point out a possible error. We review correction requests, check the relevant details and amend published material when warranted. For significant changes, we make the correction clear in the article so readers can understand what changed.

Images and illustrations

Images are chosen to help readers understand or consider a subject, not to imply evidence that is not present. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when an illustration is AI-generated, it is identified accordingly. Illustrations should not be mistaken for documentary images of a real person, place or event.

A point of view

Creative culture is made in company.

A finished work matters, but so do the rooms, materials, habits and encounters that surround it. We look at those conditions with curiosity and care.
